Sure can...have I got a TRICK for you! Press the letter "T" three times to turn your mouse into an arrow that points to the left and right. Click on the track you want to adjust the audio...

Export your movie as a self contained QT file. Reimport that. Make a new sequence that is DV50, or ProRes SD. Drop the file into that, adjust the center (might need to unsqueeze it too, do that...
