Hi Glad it's working for you so far. However you mentioned BootCamp above in configuring a dual boot system. You mentioned Dell and Vista! Those are PC. Boot Camp is a MAC program and you use it on a MAC so...

What are you encoding from/to? In Vegas whether I'm using an AVI or MOV file, I always encode using the Motion Jpeg option and it doesn't go all that slow. I get a great video and it plays...
