Hi Cows,
I'm Kevin Monahan and I am a video editor, motion graphics artist and educator. I usually use Final Cut Studio and Adobe Tools to get my work done.

I have worked for PIXAR as an animator on 2 features: "Finding Nemo" and "WALL•E", Hal Riney, Giant Killer Robots, Goodby Silverstein, and many other SF mainstays. I've also worked in LA as a colorist on a bunch of videos for artists like, "Ne-Yo", "Death Cab for Cutie" and "Melissa Ethridge". I also restored the well known rock concert film, "Cheap Trick: Live at Budokan".

I've taught FCP at Apple and at PIXAR, as well as Apple Certified Training Centers, such as Studio Arts, Video Symphony and BAVC. I have been teaching for years and am a well respected instructor.

I have just completed my second long-term contract at Apple, working extensively on Final Cut Studio I and the most current version of Final Cut Studio (2009). I also did testing for the 1.1 release of Xsan.

I am the author of a book called, "Motion Graphics and Effects in Final Cut Pro".

I am currently open to new job contracts or training opportunities specializing in my inside knowledge of Final Cut Studio (2009). Contact me for details.
