frankly I would never use a computer with any software any platform, Mac or Pc for a major screening. And you are correct the WMP is the worst of the worst combos. Sounds like a lazy projectionist. A scratch cannot...

the longer the text clip is the slower it plays. So if the text scrolls of from first line on to last line off in 5 sec. if you make it do that in 10 sec. it will be 1/2...

Go down the hall and slap the person in the audio department that told you that. ac3 is by spec, included in every DVD player that has ever been made. It is 100% compatible. Every Hollywood DVD has ac3 audio on...

Memory on a Mac system never refers to hard drive space, it is always RAM or Video RAM. What much RAM do you have on your system. Hard drive is normally referred to as disc space....
