Hi David, thanks for accepting. After spending the morning scouring through posts, yours back in March struck me as being most similar to the situation our shop is facing. That is working in a hybrid SD HD environment. Actually I'm jumping the gun. We haven't purchased a HD camera yet but are looking to replauce our Digital Beta DVW700P. I scetched out a scenario (maybe a bit confused) in the HVX forum but no valid info yet. Our tape archive is 100% Digital Beta SD and we access it constantly for programs. I have been in video since the tape to tape UMATIC days but am finding the HD jump confusing to say the least! We have 4 edit bays with FCP 6 and we're looking at the best way to ease into the HD world. I was just wondering how you are fairing... Thanks if and when you have time to answer. |
