This can be done by drawing 2 paths with the bezier pen tool. Then apply a blend to this and set the specified steps to a low number (eg: 4 steps would give you 6 total lines). Since blends...

Option 1) A grayscale file, and tell them to use the same plate for 2 colors. No reason to give them 2 grayscale files if the artowrk is the same on both. Option 2) Give them your duotone file. Option 3)...
