Becuase I have produced 6 DVD's last year and I did them all with Premiere and After Effects. We only shoot with DV cameras and the 844x dosen't render out to DV very well. Also, working with non-comprerssed files not only takes up too much room, it also slows the rendering process. Just read about all the hassels users have when backing-up or trying to consolidate their projects. Xblur is great but only with a few effects. Most of all, Media 100 has screwed us all with lagging software updates and poor user interface designs. other than that the systems is great if you want to spend more than $50K!
