Does anyone know if an older Cinewave card (bought with version 1.0) can be upgraded to 4.0 software?
Will it also work with any Cinewave HD Bob?
Can it also be upgraded to Pro RT software?

Yes to all of your questions. I'm still running the same CineWave board I started with two years ago with CineWave 1.0. That's one of the absolutely beautiful things that Pinnacle has done, we simply update the board with software. Enjoy!

If your board has the product code 141203043 it will work fine with HD. If it has the product code 141203042 there's a problem. The good news is if you buy an HD breakout box Pinnacle will swap your old "42" board for a new one, no additional charge.

By-the-way who's your VAR ? He should know this stuff !!
