just bought HD bob- storage rates?

I just made a deal for a used HD bob and an AJA HD10C HD SDI to analog HD (&XVGA) converter, so I am sure I will be having loads of questions in the coming weeks/months.

I am quite appreciative of all the advice offered here by you regulars.

I am planning on getting the Huge systems 1.2 tetrabyte drive, but am looking for accurate figures of HD data rates for 1081, 720P, etc to figure our my real storage needs.

Just hoping the New York has enough HD jobs coming up that some will come my way.

Deadhead,

Congratulations !!!

We have found the published datarates to be fairly accurate:

1080i......... 7.0GB/min
1080-24p.... 5.6GB/min
720p.......... 6.2GB/min

Please let me know whenever I can be of any help. (We HD guys have to stick together.)
