I just purchased an Igniter Pro and would like to know if anyone has extended the length of their cable to the breakout box? My computer is in the "closet" and my rack is about 18 feet away. I unscrewed the back of the breakout box but I didn't want to yank at it because I'm not sure if the points are directly soldered to the end of the cable or there's a connector there. Also, what would the maximum cable length be? I know that composite video can travel quite far over good bnc cable and S-video can do so as well. Balanced audio can also travel a long way over good cable so...

Has anyone out there built an extension cable or had one manufactured for them?

Thanks!

I'm running a 50' BNC component in and 2 50' balanced XLR in to my Breakout box with no problem.

I know that I can run long cables to and from the breakout box, what I want to do is to place the breakout box farther away from the computer. My rack is a good 18 feet away and the included cable is only about 6 feet in length.
