JASONG5 & IGNITER

Hi All

So i'm thinking about gettting a G5 and wondering if I will be able to use my Igniter like an AJA Io and edit material captured in a different codec through the igniter just like I was using the Igniter, anyone tried this? Does it work Ok?

Jason, I believe that if you have a non "X" card you need to upgrade it to Igniter X. Aurora is offering this, very generously I think, for $300. I have not heard neither good nor bad report on Igniter X and the G5.
