Hi,

Trying to capture through the S-Video out, into my Igniter card with FCP 4. The result is a split screen with top half being my laptop screen squished, and the bottom half being pure green, even though it shows fine in the capture window and the NTSC monitor... Any idea why?
I have tried pretty much everything from changing resolutions (although I need to have it at minimum 800x600), to changing the menu bar from the laptop screen to the NTSC monitor (Sony).

Any suggection is welcomed!!

Thank you.

P

could be a genlock issue?

have you tried messing with those settings in the ignition control panel?

Thanks for your help, it turns out that when I open the QTmovie in QuickTime, as opposed to IN FCP, it looks fine. So it must be an issue with Igniter and the S-Video signal out of the laptop when trying to view my recorded clips in FCP.

For the record, the hardware used is:
-G4 933mhz, internal partitioned drive
-Igniter 111RT with breakout box
-Powerbook G4 400Mhz 15" Titanium.
