I do not know what you mean by this?
I mean under the application menu/Services/Speech. I use it quit a bit to to read manuals and articles to save my eyes for doing my effects work. In OS 9 there was a key command for this.
Thanks, Mark

You can go to the Speech System Preference control panal. Then the Spoken User Interface tab. Once there you can check the Selected Text When the Key is Pressed option at the bottom. Then select a key that you want to use to activate the speaking text (and that won?t interfere with other programs). You?ll need to select whatever text you want spoken, but that is pretty quick and easy. Then just hit the key you assigned.
