How do I change the name of my computer???

I just sold a HD to somone and the computer name went with it and they want to change it.

Click on the name, wait a couple of seconds, type.

Not the name of the Hard Drive, The Name Of the Computer!!

You know when it says "Mark's Computer" in the log in screen.

Think you change the computer name by going to
System Preferences-> Sharing:
and change it there.

Tim is correct for sharing, but if you want to change the Admin name it’s more difficult. In fact, the only way I know to change it is to reinstall OS X. I’m sure somebody has a UNIX work around for that, but reinstalling maybe the way to go.
