Total Training for Illustrator

can anyone offer any opinions on this DVD set for AI 10?
I am trying to talk the boss into buying these, but need some fuel for the fire.
I know After Effects and Photoshop really well, but everytime I use Illustrator, I realize I don't know what I'm doing. AI 8 was confusing enough, but since we've upgraded to 10, I'm really lost.
Oh, and my background is in video, so do these videos explain how to set up for video & print? Because I find myself needing to do more stuff for print nowdays, and 400 MB files and huge slowdowns for simple artwork in PS just isn't cutting it.
