In Win XP there is a command (MSCONFIG) is there such a command in win 2000? if so what is it? I try to ping my interface and I get an error code 65, do you know where I can find out what error code 65 is? also is there a place I can look for TCP Port definitions ie. what is port 5631? Thanks in advance!

The TCP definitions as well as all ports asociated to a service on your computer are located at "C:WINDOWSsystem32driversetc" in a file named "services". For more info regarding ports you can try searching the http://www.ietf.org/ site.
I hope this helps a little.

You can copy msconfig from W98 to W2000...it will complain a little, but works fine.
