Panasonic DMR-E80H DVD-Rs dont' play in Computers???

Hi all,

I just purchased a Panasonic DMR-E80H to record directly to DVD-R out of my NLE.

When recording with the Panasonic DMR-E80H, the DVD-R's don't seem to have the ability to play on computers, specifically my Mac G4 superdrive. They work fine in DVD players though. Anyone else experience this or have info to share?

There's an update over at apple.com that will fix that.

The disc comes up on the desktop but it shows empty right?

I'm not sure what the patch is called, but it is definitely
there and fixes that problem.

Thanks - Actually it comes up as a volume unrecognized, "Do you want to initialize it or Eject it"?

Does that sound familiar? I'm going to check out the apple site right now - thanks again.
