 | Hey Design'aholics: letterboxing treatments?

Client wants to incorporate blue sky and clouds (part of the product's branding) into a series of spots. I was thinking of letterboxing them with sped-up sky shots or framing 'em with some feathered matte key shapes. The only ultimatum from the client: "stay simple with the look".
Any better ideas?

Monkey- if the letterboxing is too much, you can matte it to just one band on top or bottom, or matte it to shapes - such as flat-look elements and type in z-space. Or you can have it reveal, then wipe it off and get rid of it.

Thanks for the advice - useful!
We ended up bluring the blue sky & clouds, then putting footage in a large rounded rectangle, scaled to about 20 pixels inside of safe title. Client happy. Thus, me happy.
