Which version AVX for MC 11.0.7?

We are running MC 11.0.7 on Windows 2000 HP 8000W.

Which version of AVX plugins can this system use: Version 1.0 or 1.5?

Access Violation error on AVX file

OK, the previous question is moot because I tried installing both the AVX 1.0 and AVX 1.5 versions of DFT 2.0 effects and I get the same error:

Access Violation when we launch AVID MC1000 V11.07, and the error log points to whichever version of the DFT 2 AVX plugin that we installed.

This machine is happily running DFT55 and other AVX plugins, but whenever we try to install DFT 2.0 we get this error.

Any suggestions?
