AS_RecordDVDDisc() returned -224.

O.K., now I have it burning DVD's ... well, Kinda.... It starts burning then locks up. If I restart the computer and take the disk out, it plays on a dvd player but the Avid software has a hell of a time restarting. Anybody have any ideas?

I have the same problem when I am using Sony DVD-R. I have not tried other brands yet, but I burned DVD video to a Verbatim CD and it worked flawlessly.
My workaround has been to create a DVD volume and then burn the two folders to a DVD with Roxio Easy CD.

I fiddled with it and figured out several things. Even though the DVD burner will work with both DVD+R and DVD-R in Roxio, it only works with -R in Avid. A little inconvenient but I can live with it if I have to.
