Tutorial request

My 3D skills stink .. but .. I would love to do something like pasto showed on his website (he posted on broadcast design forum awhile back). Check out pastomotion.com, the 28th football tournament open. Very cool. Can the Invigorator do this? Pasto says he used CD4, mapping QT movies on simple 3D volumes and animating them .. with rotational and/or camera moves. It looks cool, sounds easy .. I've had zero luck getting a look even close to this. So anyway, this is my tutorial request. I would be extremely grateful if someone could do a quickie tutorial detailing something similar. I create opens similar to that .. but lacking the 3D look .. and it's really killing me right now.

Thanks. I'd appreciate anything you could do -- I especially loved the end of pasto's piece .. where it's broken up into columns (or something like that) with a movie split into different pieces playing on it -- while the camera orbits around it. Perhaps this can't be done with the invig .. I don't know, but I am very curious!!
