have some real old 8 mm movies that i have gotten into my hard drive. The problem is that the movies are so old the frames fad in and then out.

is there a filter; that can 'remove the edge' clean up the in and out (fad in and out) of these old movies

thanks in advance

Don't know if this will help, I recently did something
similiar to this with old home movies. I used the crop
feature, gamma correction, and the Movie Looks plugin
to get a little more crispness and brightness back into
the footage.
After Effects has a plugin, which I've never used, that
is supposed to help with keeping footage a constant brightness.

Good luck.

Mark
