Hello-

Is there any way to "collect" the clips that make up a Premiere (Pro) Project the way that you would in After Effects?

Thanks,

Sean

Not easily. Easy file management in PPro relies on your having a tidy arrangement of source material before you start.

However, there is a fairly-well hidden way to tidy up after completing a project by Unlinking clips in the project window, which then offers an option to delete the associated source files. Then delete the offline clips from the project.

By sorting on audio or video usage, unused clips can easily be deleted in this way, leaving on disk only the source material actually in use.

Not as helpful as the AE facility, I know, but that's the best you can do (as far as I am aware) with current facilities in PPro. Maybe things will improve as the product evolves.
