Is it possible with PI to recreate how a sparkler (those little stick that you light at the tip) looks like when waived in front of a camera with slow shutter speed. The center is bright and there are a loot of littles sparks going in random direstions.

We would like to make it outline logos, write titles create animated frames for video etc..

Thank you in advance,

JJ

It's definately possible. You would need to make sure each particles have a reallly short life since the sparks fly off really fast. Here's a particle shape that you can try for the sparks.

I had some footage of real sparklers captured, so I had some nice reference to whip this up, though it's not perfect. It will only open up in version 3.01
