i know this question has been asked b4 but i cant find a post on it. i need a program that can capture the actions taking place on my computer monitor so i can add it to my video footage.
thanks for any help.

Camtasia is one. Search the COW (include archives) for that, and you'll find others.

Windows Media Encoder is another. It's free too. Well, it DOES encode as WMV which can be a pain for some people and I do believe there is no Mac equivilent so that part is a downer. Other than that, it certainly works.
