I'm trying to make a text animation where the text is being squeezed, bend, streched etc.
Any ideas on what would be the smartest/easiest way to do this?

Thanx in advance!

Looks like something you're after?

Heh, I opened that Xpresso and nearly went blind! :)

My suggestion would be to put the text in an extrudeNURBS, select "regular grid" for the caps with a small division, and try out a bunch of different deformers (bend, twist, taper, etc.) to achieve the effect you want. The deformers can be animated and the text can be animated to pass through the deformers as well.

Ops, haven't tryied it myself, just remembered the animations that looks cool.
There is also the option to use separate VibrationTags to get all kinds of stretching around.

Cheers
Lennart

Sorry for that Adam.
Didn't intend to make you blind.
But you are right and I've made some progress by using the hierarchy node.
But still it works, it bends ...
