How do I animate a Bone Chain up a Spline path?

Posted this on PostForum, and thought I'd try here also.
This is probably pretty easy for you expresso users out there. I want to animate a bones chain along a spline in a snake-like manner. Seems to me there was a plug-in or tutorial I saw awhile back that did that. I don't care how it is done, as long as it can follow a spline path. (I'm currently using the 8.2 bundle)
The solutions I've seen so far (Such as Bone Tools and SplineToBone) build a bone chain along the length of the spline, and sticks the bones to it so it will deform with the spline.
What I am trying to do is to actully animate the bone chain along the spline path so the parent bone and its children will follow along the curves of a path as it animates along it over time on up the spline path.
Have a solution, but is this doabel with Expresso? by onostuff on May 7, 2004 at 8:33:31 pm
Rui gave me a solution of applying the "align to Spline" expression to each of the bones, then off setting them and recording keys at the start and end of the spline for each. This works, but was wondering if something like this exists in expresso?
