grass/fur

Does anyone know how i can create realistic looking grass /fur?? Preferably a way that is not too taxing on the computer. Not just a flat map but so that it actually looks like it is sticking up. I have Cinema 4d version 5.29.

There is a new plug-in coming out soon, that will do hair/fur/grass, but I doubt it will work with V5. If I can remember the info I'll post a URL and you can ask the authors.

Hello Mark,

I presume you mean FUR*IOUS from motion gimmick.
The plug-in was only written for versions 5 and 6.

No, that's not the one I was referring to, but thanks for pointing it out, I was unaware of it. Looks like there are several plugs there.

On the web page it says that Fur*ious is for V6/V7
