how do I create an array? urgent!!!!!!
by Taelin Nguyen on Apr 20, 2003 at 3:29:01 am

To create a circle array is quite easy. I just drop the object into the array icon then from there I could give the amount of dublicate object I want to. However, the straight distance array is more difficult and I can't find any where in the manual that talks about it.
I would like to know how to creat a long distance array. I know this is a simple question for you but it's an ocean of challenge for me. Thanks for helping.

I still use C4D V6 on the Mac.

there are two different arrays

The array that you've been using is a circular array. To get the array that I think you want, it's under the structure command. Make sure to click on to your object and that it's an editable object, then go Structure-->Edit Surface-->Array. That should do it.

Hope this help,
Tuan

You can also use the duplicate command.
