It only exports to iTunes as MP3s.

Me, I'd love to have more export options and be able to export what I create at at least a full 44.1KHz setting in AIF, etc.

Has anyone figured out a way to do this? Is it done by working in combination with Logic? Will it work with the new "Logic Jr." that just got released for $299 or so (as I recall). I don't have Logic so I don't have any idea of whether it would do this or not.

Still, even with the lack of export options, for a songwriter who is fleshing out ideas, this is a great tool. I've already got two totally different ideas going and within a month, I should many more that I can give to my friends I record with and then we can go into the studio and work out our own versions of the ideas.

We have 20 or so Mac's at the station with GB and I have four at home, all songs export as aiff?? Maybe it is a setting in iTunes.

From the help section:
Exporting a song to an iTunes playlist
You can export a song to an iTunes playlist, then play your exported songs in iTunes, download them to an iPod, or burn the playlist to a CD. Files are exported to iTunes in AIFF format. You can convert the exported file to another format, such as AAC or MP3, from within iTunes.

We have been using GB to do radio spots and original music for a lot of our productions at the station. I love GB it has given me my old hobby back. Gave away my old four-track to one of my students.

Has anyone noticed the PowerBook and Korg in the new Duran Duran music video?

Thanks for the clarification, Shawn. I have been so busy playing that I haven't yet had time to read the manual and just assumed that all the iTunes exports were MP3s as they seem to open up in the same folder that contains all the MP3s on my machine. You know what they say about those who "assume" anything -- ;o)

Damn, all I need is about 20 more hours in a day and I will be able to keep up with all this stuff and do everything else I want to do as well.

Thanks, Shawn.

You're at KMET now, eh? You left Fresno and are in Los Angeles now?

Best regards,

Ron Lindeboom
