I'm creating the Apple iPod advert in Shake, for practice. Question: how did they create the white headphone leads dangling around the dancers necks?

This is the only bit I am stuck on.

Probably several ways to tackle that... but I'd imagine they tracked a 3D element over the real element. Either that or a lot of roto. Green screen painted headphones and iPod?

I would have had the the cord painted a whole different color than that of the person and background, and then just pull out later,

maybe like a bright red or green if the person wore blue, etc etc..green cord on a blue clothed would be an easy pull
