 | Audio Synch Problems after capturing
by Adam on Nov 10, 2004 at 3:59:55 pm |
This happened once before and we fixed it. But before the synch problems were only in the tv screen and not on the Canvas in FCP. Now the synch problems are in the TV and in the Canvas.
Has this happened to anybody, and what did you do if it did?

In the SYSTEM SETTINGS-PLAYBACK CONTROL-FRAME OFFSET - 4
Make sure your offset is 4 frames
Otherwise...I just don't know

@*!!??#**!! Now there is no audio at all . . the meters are bumping just like they were, but there is no audio . I went into system settings, changed the frame rate from 7 to 5 and there was no audio heard, but it was there on the meters. I have not touched anything except those system settings. I changed it back to 7, and the audio is still not playing.
yes all the volume knobs are turned up : )

Solutions:
REVIEW ALL YOUR SETTINGS
or
1- restart FCP
2- Reboot
3-trash preferences
4-re-install FCP
5-re-install OS X

Can you get audio in or out your AJA Box? If not, the audio part in the AJA has blown up. But you'll get a new box. I've had it.

I guess all is OK, I just made an mov of the file and all the audio was synched up. I forgot that there is a setting in the AV settings where you can offset a number so that the picture will not be out of synch. Ill have to search around for that again.
