Just received the package today (Red 2,AE 3,Continuum) but I can
not find anything about the dongle in the install pdf. Do you just
install it on the port and then install the software? And should I
uninstall BorisFX 5 and Grafitti? Is there any advantage to having
them also when Red has all the features of the both? BTW the dongle
thing sucks-in less than a month there will be crack for it on the
internet anyway. The great majority of people using this type of
software buy it so what's the point? Oh well...

HI Mark, the only instructions for dongle install are that you need the hasp driver to install. You should be prompted at the end of the RED installation process(Win only) and you should choose to install this driver. This will place the following file in your 'System32 ' folder:

haspvdd.dll

thanks,
Susan

btw-you could have Graffiti, BFX and RED installed at the same time, but you are correct, it would be redundant.
