DVD link to DVD ROM content

Hi All -

There has been a good amount of discussion on adding files like .doc and .pdf to the DVD, and it sounds like there isn't a way in Encore, to create a link in the DVD to these files.

Sounds like the best at this point is to just have a folder on the DVD, and instruct users how to get there.

If someone has a way to create a menu link to the DVD ROM content, w/o other software, I'd love to hear it.

Also, I found this advice on the DVD Authoring forum:

"I would create an additional folder called Data or PDF then
put an autorun.ini at the root of the disc to autorun a
simple web page which links to the pdf's."

but I have no idea what this would do and how to do it. Is this a solution to the link issue?
