Does anyone have any experience using an external DVD burner with Encore? I'm specifically looking at using the Pioneer DVR-S606, via Firewire with Encore. Any info, stories, problems, etc. regarding Encore and external DVD drives would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I use the new Plextor 708-UF and I have had no problems... in fact, the burner is great.

Hi


I'm using a Aleratec USB external, which is a Pioneer AO6. I've had no problems. XP needed no drivers to install and it was recognized right from the start.
