Why UDF2.0 ?

Hi
Anyone knows why Encore uses UDF2.0 mode when building to image and burn mode?
I have read that the UDF2.0 mode is not for DVD-Video, and the way to have most compatibility is the ISO9660/UDF1.02 bridge, UDF1.02 being DVD-video mode.

does UDF 2.0 incorporate the Joliet attributes? (long file names)
If it does, thats a real concern for compatability.
