Hi,

I'm a newbie to the package. I am impressed by what it can do.
I have a naive question. How do I sort a list of names in a text frame?
I couldn't find a sort option.

Sincerely,

Rob

Set your text in InDesign using a carriage return between each line, and copy it to the clipboard.

dog
mouse
zebra
elephant
monkey
cat

Open Microsoft excel and paste into the first cell. Select the column anbd then choose data > sort. After the data is sorted copy and paste it back into InDesign.

monkey
