Help Needed! How To Export Layers?

It can be done, hopefully your document is not very complex or it might be some work. You will need InDesign, Illustrator CS and Photoshop CS to do this.

Start out in InDesign with your layered document and choose file >> export >> pdf. Be sure to choose Acrobat 6.0 then you are able to check the box for write layers.

Open this PDF in Illustrator, and choose file >> export >. Phothsop >> check the option for layers.

Finally you can open this in Photoshop and amazingly type is still editable.

If you do nothave CS, you may have to in Illustrator restack your document in seperate layers, since it was not until CS Phtoshop that you had nesting of layers.
