Export Chapter Points in "legal" AVI to Ulead DVD Workshop

Although I understand that companies want to connect its product users to its own products (Adobe Encore), I would like to import the "legal" AVI movie (as PPro help calls it) from PP1.5 into Ulead Workshop 2 with chapter points created in Premiere Pro recognized. Althought there is continual reference to Encore, the help file does allow that this AVI file with chapter points can be imported by other authoring software, but obviously, mentions none by name.

I've set the sequence markers on the PPro timeline with a chapter name and comment.

I've exported an entire movie in Microsoft DV AVI, using compilation settings and have selected chapters only, without comments.

After creating this AVI file, I import into Ulead Workshop 2, but there are no chapter points present or noted. In WS2 Auto Add Chapters only offers scene detect or fix interval.

Has anyone successfully done any of this before? And how?
