Black Flash between Titles

I recently tried my first project and have a Question.
I used 4 avi clips that had been captured from Dvtape using Canopus Raptor Video. I set the clips one after the next and constructed a menu to move to the head of some of the clips.

However, I find that when I play the project, things seem to function as expected except for a black flash (~1/2 sec) as the project moves thru the junction of one title to the next. I had set the "after end" to the next title.

Did I miss something? Or is that as good as it gets?

I noted that there is a patch for Canopus products, but it does not mention DV Raptor.
Anybody know if it will work?
