another no audio on home system question

Audio does not play on my home system with DVD's created in DVD workshop but does play with Sonic DVDit! Also, I am unable to import Mpeg2 video into DVD Workshop unlike Sonic DVDit!(exporting Mpeg2 files from Avid Xpress DV), DVD Workshop will, however, except .mov files. I have been importing the .mov files into DVD Workshop and creating DVD's with those files. Does this have anything to do with my audio problem?
