Is it possible to do a smaller 16x9 video clip for web type use? I have attempted to take 16x9 material, make it un-anamorphic and encode it to a 360x210 windows media file. Windows Media encoder 9 helpfully shows the file encoding just fine, but when playing back using windows media player (locally) the sound is played but picture is NOT displayed --- just black.

thanks for any insight...

I do 16:9 all the time. Not sure what's going wrong here, but it's not the aspect ratio.

As a rule of thumb, I make height and width both divisible by 16, although all WMV9 requires is divisible by 2. Maybe try something slightly different, like 352x192?
