Michael ZimbardOutput problem with DVCPRO HD through Kona 2

I'v crossposted this to the Final Cut forum because Im not sure where this problem is coming from. Im having a strange problem playing back a DVCPro HD 23.98 sequence from final cut through my Kona 2 card. All of the footage was captured 23.98P, and the sequence has no field dominane associated with it, but when I playback the sequence to an external monitor I get field artifacting and jaggy lines around subjects very fequently. If I still the picture everything is rock solid. Furthermore, everything on the viewing canvas looks absolutely fine and everything appears to be completely progressive within After Effects. Additionally, I have a lower third super running at the bottom of the screen (pict with alpha) that reads perfectly when the sequence is still. However, when I play the timeline the text is extrememly "crunchy" and low-res looking. Almost as if it's displaying a single field. Any idea what might be happening - I thought I was working progressive........Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike
