I talked to Curtis as well, and it does seem to be related to those ads -- which came with scripts intact and can't be changed, and since the ads are what keep the lights on in here, there's not much we can do about it.

On the other hand, IE seems to be less and less compatible with Mac OSX. I stopped using it a month or so ago after all of a sudden it wouldn't allow me to reset my prefs. I seem to be permantly stuck with a home page that I no longer want.

But I love Safari. It's now my default browser. Even Netscape seems more usable than IE.
