Hi Francois,
I've tried to avoid joining this discussion, but it's carried on for so long, I feel I should add my perspective.
You considered your options and selected the CineWave for the kind of work you do, and, it seems to me, you are now trying to justify your decision by claiming that the system you chose produces the same image quality as Kona and Digital Voodoo.
It does not, it can not.
All of us who use Kona are well aware of the features of CineWave. It does some real-time effects, but can't produce the best quality image, it melts down in the new G4's, and it costs more. It's not the card we choose to work with. Most readers of this forum have made the decision to value image quality over render time. If that mode does not suit your needs, go elsewhere.
Please, should you learn any exciting news about CineWave, share that information on the CineWave forum. Your posts claiming that Marco's site is misleading are most unwelcome and totally unwarranted. It may well be the most valuable resource on the web for those doing high-end digital video. We all owe him a lot.
Best regards,
Leo
