As I listened to the playback of the Conference Call I wondered about why you didn't follow up your question. So, they shut you out. Huh. You know I was positioning for a buy of the 844/x HD around NAB Annoucements that were promised to be coming and can definitely confirm that those promises were made were made. I now cringe at what could've happened to me if I had purchased a 844/X SD system with hopes to upgrade into HD when it became available. The only reason I didn't pursue it hard and heavy was because I already had purchased FCP and Apple/Panasonic have kept making it easier for me to accomplish things in the HD realm. I don't know where this is all going but I agree that the content creation industry that they are targeting is watching how they're handling Media100. Media100 itself have had analysts that watch it and the analysts community is very close-nit. I think they are screwing up and may screw it all up before it's over. I pray not though.
For your sake, and for those of us who are interested in purchasing 844/x HD I hope this get resolved soon.
