Well from my experience and everything I've read here:
-it's common to fcp
-it's not a cinewave thing, since other cards do the same.
-it happens to XRaid too, over fibre
-it's not an operator thing

The fact that HD "Capture Now" works better than SD (Sava tested it using Kona and XServe as well) tells me that THIS IS A PROBLEM THAT CAN BE FIXED BY APPLE. (Search for posts by Sava on the Decklink forum)

So please do it. It's the one SERIOUS weak point that FCP still has. It's one of the basic things an edit suite must do well, before you start looking at effects and nice-to-have's.

Sorry about the flame- it's meant for Apple. They DO read these forums.
