Just upgraded, now no device control

Just upgraded tto OSX 10.3.4, QT6.5.1, FCPHD, Cinewave 4.6

Everything seems well. Projects open (they demand updating, no doubt due to the new FCP version), playback is fine. Rendering fine.

Now my device control to our Sony PVW2800 no longer works. I checked my Audio/Video Settings, and RS422 29.97-Keyspan Adapter is selected (as it was in the old setup). What am I missing ? I spent the whole morning before the upgrade mastering to tape on this machine using the Edit To Tape function, so I know that this device control was working fine (i.e. the cable is good, adapter in place, deck set to remote, etc).

Anybody got an opinion ?
