After many months of this questions, I think the bast answer is...probally.

Adaptec has addressed most issues. Atto still has the best product, however there is no harm to be done by trying out the Adaptec card. I have heard good reports over the last several weeks.

I will say that my Adaptec card is still sitting in the box I put it in after buying the Atto card.
