Take Media Transfer from Digital Voodoo. It's no longer for registrated users only. Download the codec as well. Open your DV footage with Media Transfer and choose QuickExport in the menue. Now Media Transfer creates a 10 Bit uncompressed Digital Voodoo movie. It`s anything else than fast but the field dominace change is perfect with this little tool. Because you are using CinéWave you must change the codec after. So you open the new file in QuickTime Pro Player and export as QuickTime Movie again. In the settings you choose the CinéWave codec. From uncompressed to uncompressed you will have no loose in quality as well as from the DV to Digital Voodoo uncompressed to CinéWave uncompressed conversation. Takes long time but has perfect quality. Alternativ you can take an external high quality Miranda DV to SDI converter that you plug to the SDI input from your CinéWave breakout box. More expenive of course.
